Kanye West Charlamagne Tha God

Kanye West has kept his Twitter fingers busy this morning (Wednesday, April 25th) and teased an interview with The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne Tha God. In the tweet, Yeezy claims he was offered $10 million for the interview and asked the Black Privilege author if the two should hold off on an offer of $100 million. "The Charlamagne interview just got an offer on 10 million. Yo @cthagod should we hold off for a hundred million???," West asked. '"Jay Virgil Obama Trump and Mental Health. Just a few things that were discussed," the tweet continued. He then compared Charlamagne, who goes by "The Architect of Aggravation," to legendary media mogul Oprah. "Charlamagne the new Oprah," the rapper boldly concluded.

Charlamagne responded to Kanye's compliments with a tweet of his own. "We can build a city with 100 (million)," he replied.

News broke that Kanye played some of his new music to Charlamagne after TMZ caught the two leaving West's Calabasas office. Kanye later announced on Twitter that his upcoming album would be released on June 1st and his collaborative projective with Kid Cudi, Kids See Ghosts, would drop on June 8th. He also revealed that he had produced legendary rapper Nas's new album, which would be out on June 15th.

On his podcast, Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne talked more in-depth about his private conversations with Kanye. When co-host Andrew Schulz asked about Kanye's mental state, Charlamagne responded, "he's in a very good space. He's not shying away from discussing mental health." He continued, "I just hope Kanye talks really, really soon. I can't for ya'll to hear from Kanye."

"He let me hear quite a few things," Charlamagne said when the topic of new music came up. The radio host revealed he heard Teyana Taylor's new album, which he called "phenomenal," and Pusha T's new project.

"I think it's similar to socially conscious 'Ye; message 'Ye," he said when speaking about Kanye's new album. "You know on (Life of) Pablo, he had "Real Friends"? That s**t was about something," he said. "He's talking about real s**t."
