Rihanna's Hollywood Hills Home Swarmed By LAPD After Triggered Alarm

Rihanna's Hollywood Hills home was swarmed by the LAPD after her faulty alarm system went off on Monday night (August 13).

According to law enforcement sources close to TMZ, the singer's home alarm went off, prompting multiple units and even an LAPD helicopter to respond to the alert. In a video obtained by the outlet, viewers can see that the neighboring authorities don't take lightly to even the smallest of triggers, particularly because of the history of past intruders at the star's home. While the pop star wasn't in the house at the time, it was concluded that the alarm was triggered by accident.

Back in May, an intruder was arrested at the singer's property after he allegedly broke in and spent the night at the residence. Once he was caught, he reportedly told cops that he was there to have sex with the star, who was not home at the time of the crime, but he didn't intend to do it forcefully. He has since been charged with felony stalking and burglary.

News of Rihanna's triggered alarm occurred just hours after the singer announced that Donald Glover will be performing at her upcoming Diamond Ball in September, with Issa Rae serving as the charity event's annual host. "Issa Rae and Childish Gambino were the dream duo for the fourth Annual Diamond Ball and they’re coming!!! We are honored and grateful to have them help us celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation this year," Rihanna said in a statement.
