lovelytheband Is Joining 'American Idol' For All-Star Duets Week

lovelytheband is taking all its momentum from 2018 and continuing to rise this year. On Friday (February 15), the SoCal trio announced it would be part of American Idol's all-star duets week.

"so excited to announce we're joining @AmericanIdol this season for their All-Star Celebrity Duets week," the band wrote on Twitter. "yup, you read that correct. we could be performing with the next #AmericanIdol don’t forget to tune in for the season premiere March 3 on ABC."

The indie-rockers will be in good company, with artists like Julia Michaels, Jason Mraz, Brett Young, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Cynthia Erivo, Lukas Graham, Ben Harper, Elle King, Chris Isaak, and Shaggy also participating.

lovelytheband recently announced their finding it hard to smile tour. The 31-date tour begins in Peoria, Illinois on March 26 and concludes at the Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware on June 21. Along the way, the three-piece will traverse the country, making stops in most major cities in the United States and Canada, and performing at a few festivals along the way, including BottleRock and Hangout Fest.

lovelytheband is nominated for three iHeartRadio Music Awards: Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist, Alternative Rock Song of the Year, and Alternative Rock Artist of the Year. Tune into FOX on March 14th from 8-10pm ET/PT to see what they take home.
