A Houston area high school principal is catching a lot of heat and criticism after she implemented a new dress code for her school. It was all good until everyone figured out that the dress code isn't for the students, faculty, or staff; it's for the parents. Principal Carlotta Outley Brown has banned bonnets, satin caps, baggy pants, revealing jeans, and shirts. Now...I'm just curious to see what parents in our city think about this. I'm understanding that she wants to help create a "professional educational environment," Carlotta Outley Brown, the school's principal, wrote in the letter, but a mother was unable to enroll her daughter in school. Should the mother have gone home and change clothes or should she protest the new dress code?
What do you think?
