King Combs: iHeartRadio On The Verge Artist

Christian Casey Combs, 20 years old, is proving to soon become a multi-facet young tycoon in today’s digital age. Combs is attracting fans and media around the globe with his music as an up-and-coming Hip-Hop artist, and rapper under the stage name “King Combs.” He has also hit the runway for fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, who recently named him the face of their Spring/Summer2018 advertising campaign in January 2018. Recently, the Tommy Hilfiger brand has named Combs one of the faces for their “Tommy Jeans” Spring 2018 collection. He is set to walk their runway for Milan Fashion week in February 2018.

In addition, Combs is one of the leaders of the curated group, CYN, a close circle of young men, who grew up together and create music, fashion, videos, and much more. Each member of the crew represents their communities of the East and West coasts.

His music, both solo, and part of his crew, CYN, represents the new sound and generation of New York rappers. Recently, he released his latest single “Love You Better” featuring Chris Brown, a sampled single that delivers an infused R&B and Hip-hop ballad, bringing back the timeless sound of the 80s and 90s.

On April 11th, 2018, King Combs debuted his mixtape, ”90’s Baby,” which is dedicated to the Hip-Hop and R&B era that has heavily influenced, and inspired his sound as an artist. This project is his first collection of songs to be released. The mixtape captures his East Coast upbringing while blending it with his current West Coast lifestyle. King Combs presents the 90’s sound from both coasts with his personal touch through his delivery.

In late 2017, “Feeling Savage” featuring 15-year-old, Spooky MarGielaa, ASAP Mob’s protege, which has been positioning itself on all digital music platforms. In 2016, Combs signed to the music industry’s iconic independent label, Bad Boy Records, owned by his father, Sean Combs. Previously, he was signed to Epic Records by LA Reid.

Combs has released three singles, which include, “Type Different” featuring CYN’s Bay Swag and Lajan Smith, “F*ck the Summer Up,” and “Whatcha Gon’ Do” (remix). King Combs has already performed at Complex Con in 2017 with DJ Khaled, Spotify’s Dipset Reunion, the 2017 REVOLT Music conference, and Rolling Loud’s 2017 music festival in California. He is set to release his first official album this year. 

In 2017, Combs made his fashion debut when he walked the runway during Milan Fashion Week in June and September for Dolce & Gabbana’s SS 2018 Menswear, and Sera show. For the brand’s Fall/Winter 2019 “King’s Angels” runway, Combs opened up the runway show and surprised the fashion industry with his second walk at the brand’s pop up show after their official runway show for its F/W2019 collection. Combs is the son of mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and model Kim Porter. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
