The Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly for some has been a true eye opener on what was going on behind the scenes in the life of R. Kelly and has sent waves of shock and disgust on social media.
The documentary producer, Dream Hampton, who also serves on the board for Color of Change, is demanding that Kelly’s long-time label part ways with the Grammy-winning artist. Brandi Collins-Dexter, Senior Campaign Director at Color Of Change, released a statement calling for RCA to “believe these women or continue to enable the abuse of Black women and girls for the sake of profit.”
Episodes 1-4 are on heavy rotation on Lifetime with episodes 5 and 6 airing tonight (Sat 1-5-19)
Check out video above from the series as one of the alleged victims tell her story and I encourage you to watch all 6 episodes. It will blow you away.
