The Weeknd is officially the “World’s Most Popular Artist!”

According, to The Guinness World Records The WeeKND accomplished this by nabbing two Guinness World records. He has the most monthly listeners on Spotify with 111.4 million, while making chart history when he tied Michael Jackson as the only artist to have multiple No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 from at least three different albums.

The Weeknd topped the Hot 100 with songs from Beauty Behind the Madness, Starboy, and After Hours. The Weeknd made Guinness World Record history when he obtained two certificates, one for having the most streamed album on Spotify, and another one for spending the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100.

The No. 1 single is the seventh for both The Weeknd and Grande, after “Save Your Tears,” another duet between the two.

The collab, came after the single’s resurgence, which completed “the longest climb to #1 in U.S. radio history!” It clinched #1 on the Billboard Radio Songs Chart for two weeks and has been on the Billboard Hot 100 for the entire year of 2023.

Fans got a view of the collab via Ariana’s TikTok account, as she posted herself working on the vocals.

The Weeknd’s HBO Live at SoFi Stadium special premieres on Saturday, as he will also star in his new role, on The Idol, opposite Lily-Rose Depp, which he wrote and executive produced with Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson.

The Weeknd’s smash “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)” has earned Diamond Certification!

After his classics like “The Hills,” “Starboy” [with. Daft Punk], “Blinding Lights,” and “Can’t Feel My Face,” this will make his fifth Diamond single, becoming the fourth artist to receive five or more Diamond certifications.

The Weeknd released an official live video for “Die For You,” which captures his performance from So-Fi Stadium and previews his HBO Special, which will debut on February 25th. It also clinched #1 on the Billboard Radio Songs Chart and entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, making it his 16th Top 10 entry.
