Kid Invents Device to Prevent Babies from Dying in Hot Cars

10-year-old Bishop Curry V invented a device that aims to prevent infant hot car deaths -- horrible tragedies that occur an average of 37 times per year. Bishop calls his invention the "Oasis" -- and already has a clay prototype of it built, as well as a provisional patent. His invention would detect whether or not a child was left in the car, and would send text alerts to both parents and police, notifying them that a child is trapped. It would also blow cold air on the baby until help arrived. Amazing, right?
