City of St. Louis begins amnesty program for outstanding warrants Monday!!!

St. Louis City Municipal Court will host a warrant amnesty program from Monday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 6. During this period, the Municipal Court will forgive outstanding warrants for all City ordinance violations, excluding DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and charges related to prostitution.

Participants taking advantage of the Amnesty Program can speak with customer service to resolve outstanding payments and warrants without penalty.

Once warrants have been resolved, defendants will get a new court date or be placed on a payment plan. No defendants will be arrested in court during amnesty.

“The City of St. Louis has a large number of outstanding warrants. We encourage individuals who have not yet resolved a warrant to use this program as an opportunity to fulfill their obligations to the law without facing undue hardship,” City Court Administrator Richard Torack said.

The warrant amnesty program will be held at the St. Louis City Municipal Court at 1520 Market Street (enter off of 16th Street). The Court will be open from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., with extended hours on Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5, 2019 until 7 p.m. Customer Service can be reached at: (314) 622-3231.
