Steakhouses are a great place to celebrate a special occasion, such as an anniversary or graduation, or simply to enjoy an extravagant meal that will leave a lasting impression. Taste Of Home searched around the country for incredible steakhouses and compiled a list of the top spot in each state that is definitely worth a visit.
According to the site, the best steakhouse in all of Missouri is Jess & Jim's Steakhouse. This establishment, located at 517 E. 135th Street has been a Kansas City tradition for nearly a century. Here's what the Taste Of Home had to say:
"This family-owned steakhouse was put on the map in 1972 when Playboy declared it one of the nation's best steakhouses. Today, it still has a 2-inch-thick sirloin on the menu (clocking in at 25 ounces) named after the magazine."

There is no shortage of great steakhouses around the state. According to Yelp, other highly-rated steakhouses in Missouri include Wright's Tavern and Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse & Bourbon Bar in St. Louis, Brix Latin American Cuisine and Eddie V's Prime Seafood in Kansas City, and G&D Steakhouse and Chris McD's in Columbia.
