2 Missouri Destinations Named Among 'Best Places To Visit' In The U.S.

With summer in full swing, many people are busy planning vacations or quick getaways and figuring out the best way to spend time away from work or school. While some may explore destinations far from home, it turns out you don't have to go too far to see incredible sights as some of the best places to visit in the country are right here in Missouri.

World Population Review compiled a list of the "best places to visit" around the U.S., listing out reasons why the destinations are such a big draw and worth seeing whenever you happen to be nearby. According to the site, the top spots to visit in Missouri are St. Louis staples — the St. Louis Zoo and the Gateway Arch.
