Former American Idol judge Randy Jackson's appearance is sparking concern among fans.

On Monday (July 22), new photos emerged on social media of Jackson from the latest Name That Tune episode. Jackson starred on American Idol between 2002 and 2014 before becoming a bandleader on the Name That Tune game show in January 2021.

Social media users shared their concern over Jackson's apparent weight loss in the new photos.

"What happened to Randy Jackson?" one X user questioned.

"He looks beyond SICK! This aint cool," another social media user tweeted.

"Ain't no way," a third user said.

The comments come after Jackson revealed in 2001 that he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Jackson reportedly weighed 350 pounds at the time of his diagnosis and underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2003 to help him lose 100 pounds.

Jackson spoke about his diabetes in his 2008 book "Body With Soul."

“It’s a curse to be saddled with a disease that’s life-threatening and that you can’t completely get rid of, though you can certainly manage it,” Jackson said. “But it’s a blessing to get that huge wake-up call. After that day in the ER, when my doctor burst the bubble I’d been living in, I couldn’t lie to myself anymore. Right then and there, I began my journey toward better health.”
