It's Yung Miami's birthday!
Yung Miami came out of Miami with her partner JT after making an uncredited guest appearance on "In My Feelings" by Drake.
The duo signed to Quality Control Music, and released their debut mixtape, in 2018. Their debut album Girl Code, spawned the Platinum singles "Twerk" (featuring Cardi B) and "Act Up".
In 2020 the City Girls' second album, City on Lock, dropped with the first single, "Jobs". The album included appearances from Yo Gotti, Doja Cat, Lil Durk and Lil Baby, and their viral song "Twerkulator" amassed popularity on TikTok.
Last year Yung Miami made her debut solo single, "Rap Freaks", alongside with a music video, wrapping up a great 2021 for the Miami native.
