The L.A. County District Attorney has decided not to go forward with criminal charges against the Bay Area rapper on allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman multiple times between June and October of 2016. TMZ reports that the D.A.’s office didn’t have sufficient evidence to make its case.
But he may not be totally out of the woods. Back in January, Teana Louis filed a civil suit against Short Dogg, alleging that he'd forced vaginal sex, oral sex and sodomy on her over a five-month period.
Short and his lawyers have claimed that this was all an extortion attempt. To support their case, they submitted texts from Louis where she said she loved Short and referred to herself as his wife.
