In an Instagram video, the Good Morning America host showed himself at the dentist getting his teeth fixed.
He captioned the clip: “I did it. #GoodbyeGap.”
Strahan knew he'd get flack for his decision, saying he expected his followers, friends, business partners and family to disapprove.
People on Twitter sure did. One person wrote, “This man just lost all his super powers.” Another said, “This is definitely one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Strahan’s gap is iconic. It’s like Robert De Niro’s mole or Tom Selleck’s mustache. You don’t just get rid of that nonchalantly.”
But Strahan said, “I gotta do what I wanna do for myself.”
