New York Mayor Bill de Blasio made the announcement about the nation's biggest school system Monday morning on MSNBC's Morning Joe. De Blasio said, "You can't have a full recovery without full-strength schools."
The superintendent of Los Angeles schools made a similar announcement on Monday. Austin Beutner said, “Looking down the path to recovery and the new school year which starts this fall, all students will have the opportunity to participate in full-day, on-campus, in-person instruction.” (Los Angeles Times)
