Former President Donald Trump has been booked and arraigned on those charges related to the classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
Trump surrendered to authorities at the federal courthouse in Miami this afternoon (Tuesday). He was booked and then taken to a courtroom for his arraignment. U.S. Magistrate Judge John Goodman accepted Trump's not guilty plea from attorney Todd Blanche.
In addition to federal prosecutors, special counsel Jack Smith was in the courtroom in an apparent show of support for his legal team.
Trump will now head back to his golf resort in New Jersey, where he has scheduled a speech this evening. (ABC News)
