TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • He's just delaying the inevitable.
  • Continuously buying time can't be cheap.
  • It seems all but guaranteed he'll do some amount of time behind bars -- it's just a question of how much.
  • He can run but he can't hide.
  • He should enjoy his last few weeks of freedom. Who knows when he'll get it again.

Tory Lanez will wait a longer to learn his fate after being convicted on a trio of felony charges tied to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

A sentencing hearing scheduled for today (Tuesday) in L.A. was pushed back at the request of Lanez’s attorneys, who get until August 1st to submit a sentencing a recommendation. He faces a possible 22 years and eight months for his crimes, though prosecutors are only asking for 13 years in state prison.

The new sentencing hearing is set for August 7th.

The Deputy Assistant Attorney, when asked if he had a message for Megan, said, "We just appreciate her being as strong as she is, and this is going to be over very soon."
